Warm Birthday Messages Pour in for Former President Mwai Kibaki as He Turns 90

State House has led Kenyans in sending warm birthday messages to retired President Mwai Kibaki as he turned 90 on Monday.

Kibaki, who was born in Othaya, Nyeri County in 1931, served as Kenya’s fourth president between 2002 and 2013. It is during his reign that the country realized unprecedented economic growth.

“Your Excellency, we wish you God’s continued providence as you celebrate your 90th birthday today Mr. President. Happy and blessed birthday Hon. Mwai Kibaki, the 3rd President of the Republic of Kenya,” State House wrote.

Kenyans and political leaders hailed Kibaki as the best president the country has produced, citing his exceptional leadership and dedication towards the transformation of the country.

Musalia Mudavadi wrote, “Happy 90th Birthday to H.E. former President of the Republic of Kenya Mwai Kibaki. Your exceptional leadership and direction are exactly what this generation should try to emulate.”

happy Birthday Baba Jimmy! I know at one time we used to call you G"General Kiguoya", but you're forgiven papa. I wish you Ruled Kenya the whole 24 years that the late despot Moi ruled Kenya.

Only in Kenya is a gentleman's mature approach to politics mistaken for cowardice. Apparently peole want the Railas, the Rutos, the Kabogos, the Waititus, the Johos, the Obados and the Sonkos! And then they sit waiting for good, clean leadership... How utterly stupid!

Happy Birthday El Presidente! The last great Kenyan president.

Happy birthday your honorable former president. Better to be a coward than a sacrificial lamb. Patience is a virtue. You left an outstanding, unsurpassable legacy. May we get a future leader as outstanding as you were or even close. Great leaders are not easy to come by. Your unsurpassable actions spoke loudest about your stupendous leadership.

Just imagine if this was the president for the 24 years we wasted with the illiterate MOI.

  6. MathengeNov 15, 2021

Kenya would now be in the ranks of many industrialized countries has Kibaki ruled Kenya in the wasted 24 years of Moi!

Moi stole everything, just like WSR will steal if Kenya is unfortunate to have him as the next president - God forbid!

Kibaki knew and understand the economy! He knew how to make things work! He ran a debt free country and Kenyans felt nice and happy to be Kenyans!

We now have a uphill battle to rebuild our country and the pride of the nation!

    Happy Birthday your Excellency!

Illiterate Moi? If the wheelbarrow guy was the president you would wish Moi resurrected.

Kenyans have wide open eyes but they don’t see far! WSR will take Kenya to hell with corruption and many other sicknesses! I just hope Ruto is just a passing cloud and the voters will soon wake up before it’s too late!

Happy Birthday your Excellence Emilio Stanley Mwai Kibaki, best Kenyan President ever!

Happy Birthday Baba Jimmy! Your retirement is well deserved but Kenyans miss you! You can return in 2022 and make Ruto the secretary in the ministry of Agriculture; if you can stomach a petty thief!

  12. LucyNov 15, 2021

Kibaki’s presidency was long overdue! He should have been the president in the 24 years Moi ruled and decimated the country into shreds! It is very wrong for a country to be ruled by a kubafu like Moi!

Kibaki repaired the country in 10 years or less! He worked tirelessly as he told Kenyans to “ji-enjoy”! He knew what buttons to push to make Kenya attain its glory again! A great president indeed!

It will take a long time ( maybe a century or do) for another Kibaki to come around!

    Happy Birthday Mr. president!

Glad Ruto realizes Kibaki’s legacy lives on…. But he is trying to bring cattle dip economy and cows in Nairobi to harm every Kenyan!

Smoother them between Your bare hands, let them fall like soot on to the smoundering three stone jiko where I was brought up in. Let them burn like wildfire sweeping across the woods of California and the Maasai Mara. Let all the resources they have stolen from Kemsa, ADC FARMS, KPA, TURKWEL DAM, KENGEN, GDC, kenya pipeline, Kamworor dam, NYS, Kplc, KARI, KENHA, KARO, COVID 19 FUNDS, and all other public county resources destroy including ther fourth generations. May what they stole to cause suffering to the masses turn to sewage water. Amen. Happy birthday Great One.
