Kenyan academic Dr Grace Jepkemboi Komol has been named among 12 University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) faculty members to receive the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.

The award is one of UAB’s top honours for teaching and recognises faculty members whose work has made a significant contribution to student learning and the university’s academic environment.
