Unable to Board any Flight to Kenya from Europe, Miguna Miguna Returns to Canada

Unable to Board any Flight to Kenya from Europe, Miguna Miguna Returns to Canada

Miguna Miguna on Tuesday returned to Canada, over two weeks after he left Canada for a trip to Kenya.

Miguna arrived in Berlin, Germany on January 5th and got ready to board a Lufthansa connecting flight to Nairobi but the airline said the Kenyan government had a red alert preventing the airline from flying him to Kenya or any other African country. He later tried to board an Air France flight but fell on the same fate.

The Kenyan government says Miguna is a citizen of Canada and lost his Kenyan citizenship after he became a naturalized Canadian, and having done so under the old Constitution, the law requires him to re-apply for Kenyan citizenship. Miguna has refused to do so, saying he is Kenyan by birthright.

Miguna was deported from Kenya in February, 2018 after he participated in the mock swearing-in of ODM leader Raila Odinga as “the people’s president.” The government also took away a Kenyan passport Miguna used, saying it had been acquired illegally since he was not a Kenyan citizen.

On Tuesday through Twitter, Miguna said he is returning to Canada but will not give up his struggle to visit Kenya. “ I've no option but to return to exile in Canada. I'll not surrender. The struggle continues. Viva!,” wrote Miguna.

Where have you been camping all this while General Miguna?

  2. MundumugoJan 21, 2020

During his European vacation, dear leader visited four countries stayed in numerous swanky hotels, made some noise, spent more in two+ weeks than the average kenyan makes in a year then proceeded to tweet about it. Dear hypocritical leader fought the "good fight" while living the good life enjoying the best Europe has to offer. What a vacation!!!

"Hakuna Hakuna"...go back to Canada and apply for a visa like any Canadian...or apply for a Kenyan passport the right way. Stop with the dramatics!

  4. MainaJan 21, 2020

Miguna - just wash your mouth with OMO to cleanse the filth which have cost you so much!

Additionally, humble your big empty head and next time plan your trip to Kenya with all the necessary documents in your hand!

By now you know that blindly following the Infective court orders and weak lawyers can’t force the immigration services to change the laws to suit your demands.

Agwambo said it best, you are very good at kubweka bweka Kama mbwa!

Have a nice time shaveling bunch of snow at your drive way in Canada. It is really very cold there as you land back!

At least, he can enter Canada without a passport. Who is fooling who?

  6. GUEST1Jan 21, 2020

Canada is a freely Welcoming country to all People from British Colonies. And obviously Kenyans are among those Welcome.

  8. mkenya200110Jan 21, 2020

mjinga... you do know that Kenya is not the only country that can issue passports? Ama you are too slow to understand the concept of dual citizenship?

  9. GUEST1Jan 21, 2020

It did after some Kenyans with Expired US visas or expired Kenyan passports went to Canada from the US (for Fear of the Trump Administration's crackdown on Illegals). Canada seriously needs more people.

BTW, miguna×2, home is where the your wife and children are. By some happy coincidence, you are a citizen of the country they reside in. It is also the same place you made the $30k you bragged about spending on your vaca. Ergo you are not going to exile you are going home where the forecast is right around freezing. Ain't life grand?

Chronicles of Migunax2: Episode3: Miguna buys a return ticket back to the land of the Queen! The man above will hate you for the rest of your life. You are such a big head, loud mouth MF! With nothing to show; Let me put this in perspective; left comfort of your home in Canada, btw with free healthcare to camp in European Airports, bwekaring around and taking selfies with some colonizers and posting online. Then claim you spend about Ksh3M (Like Kenyans give a shit!). Just follow the damn protocol of acquiring the right documents idiot! Mavi ya punda!

Guys, you are potraying wrong image to the country I am proud to say I belongs. Really, for instance, if I go to a bank and complain of my funds are not reflecting what I expected to be,banker will sort me out immediately. Remember clearly that he had a passport and this person you are dealing with is a kenyan, he was given a passport of kenya by kenyan body that issue passports, call it what by now, who is authorized to do his job. Then, how can you undermine your employees' jobs and expect good results afterwards. This is a matter of shame, it should not repeated now and then. The world is watching. It should not happen if I was on power.

  16. Amos RotichJan 22, 2020

@ Yunifer Kengere; 😂😂😂 English please!

  17. MainaJan 22, 2020

@unifer - my Bank in Kenya does the same thing yours does in Canada or even better! MPESA was founded in Kenya and not Canada, your country of love, or that you love for that matter!

As for Mx2, life experiences have to educate him properly! Ya, he was a Kenyan before he denounced his Kenyan citizen before dual citizenship was allowed through 2010 constitutional changes.

He can re-apply through the proper channels to regain the citizenship of his birth country. Otherwise, he will be stranded in Saiberia should he attempt to travel again without the required documents. I don’t feel sorry for Miguna Njuguna! He knows better but he chooses to do crazy stuff.

  18. KenyaJan 23, 2020

Yunifer Kengere, if you go to you bank and work with an employees of that bank to give you some cash illegally. You will be in for trouble. That is what Miguna did.

  19. Ernest WamburuJan 24, 2020

Miguna, you are your own worst enemy because of your mouth. No country would let in such a person. BBI talks are now happening and there's nothing you can do to cause an uprising. The people of Kenya are coming together like nothing before. You need to humble yourself and moreover you need God. Remember, God appoints kings
