Kenyan Family Seeks Help to Trace Son Who Moved to the US
A Kenyan family from Ruai, Nairobi County is seeking help to trace their son who lives in the US.
The distressed family says they have not communicated with Allan Gathungu Kangethe for a long time and are wondering what might have happened to him.
The last time they were in touch with him was when he was residing in Crescent Valley, Nevada many years ago. The family says it can no longer reach him through his last known telephone number, which ended in 1138.
The family says Gathungu’s ailing dad desperately wants to talk to his son and has appealed to anyone with information about his whereabouts to help them locate him.
Gathungu was born and raised in Nairobi’s Buruburu estate before the family relocated to Ruai, where they currently live.
Anybody with information that may lead to his tracing may contact his mother Mrs. Kangethe (0723063611) or sister Christine Kariuki (0720219733).

In America, you gotta do whatta gotta do. You gotta go where looking for greenest pastures sometimes or all the time. Looks like Allan moved from Crescent Valley, Nevada then moved to Long Beach California. He seems to have settled at Rowland Heights, Trona in California. Allan's info provided is sketchy and cant give good leads. Pray that Allan will be re-united with the family soon.

My supposition is that he may not want contact because of financial demands from his kin. If you aren't fully settled it can be a struggle to save and send kidogo nyumbani. Your first thing is a place to stay and food to eat. Kenyans here and in the 254 can be quite shallow and he might not be be living up to their expectations so he may have taken the unusual route of breaking off contact. Cali is an expensive place to stay. If he is renting you better believe he is spending up to $2k or more on rent and utilities a month
