Kenya's 1,500m Three-Time World Champion Asbel Kiprop Caught on Camera Groping Married Woman
A video of controversial three-time 1,500m World Champion Asbel Kiprop groping a married woman in a car has gone viral on social media.
This comes a few months after he was caught up in a doping saga where he was accused of using banned blood-booster EPO.
In the video widely circulated online, the two are seen dancing to a Kalenjin song and then slowly start kissing.
The woman with her top fully unbuttoned and exposing her bra has been identified as Nancy Chepsiya, a former MCA aspirant in Eldoret who is apparently married.
Taking to social media, Kiprop said the woman has cost him his family and career. Contacted by a local station for a comment, the athlete said the woman moves around with “many people I can’t mention, elite names.”
In May, International Athletics Association Federation (IAAF) said it had found a banned energy-enhancing drug in Kiprop’s urine sample, allegations the runner denied.
“I have been left to fight this on my own. I have had no support even from my fellow athletes, some who have questioned my integrity in public. One day, the whole truth will come out and I will be proven innocent,” he said before announcing his retirement from athletics.

The use of GROPING here is a bait click or at the very least misleading. Sounds like they were two CONSENTING adults if you ask me. Last time I checked this dude has never proclaimed to be a moral idol to anyone. I believe the moral police’s time would better spent in the widespread Pedophilia in Catholic Churches and mass sexual assaults and cover up in our religious institutions. No one I mean no one, in this day n age, has the moral authority to judge me. Just saying
@ James Wriggle idont think the word gropping is misplaced.I watched the video and its kiprop doing the gropping and its safe to assume with her consent.The problem with these two consenting adults is that the woman is rumoured to be married to his best friend who is an athlete as well.Many would see something wrong with this picture.
What confounds me is how the video leaked if he was the one shooting with one hand and gropping with the other. Did he intentionally leak it...?
Maxiley, I totally get your point. My issue with the whole story is the insinuation of him being the aggressor, my perception of course. So groping( mostly used for noconsential) as opposed to ‘making out’, would make sense. Even if the rumor about their marital status is accurate, the woman is the one violating her matrimonial oath and I disagree with’the best friend’ title since his actions says otherwise. These are two unfaithful and selfish idiots being themselves.
Lesson of the day: the husband needs to review his fomular of picking the people he wants around him.
